Salary

• Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA for candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, etc.)
• Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA for others

Eligibility

• Masters in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Botany/Zoology/Genetics or related subject from a recognized University.
• Candidates must have already acquired the essential qualification and their results must be declared. Result awaited/final semester appeared or appearing candidates are not eligible.
• Applicants who have completed a total tenure of 6 years in any CSIR Lab/Instt. as Project Staff are not eligible.

Requirements

• To conduct R&D activities aligned with the project objectives.
• Desirable: Experience in recombinant DNA techniques, enzyme assays, enzyme purification and characterization.

Age Limit
35 years as on 01.11.2026. Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/PwBD/Women is 05 years and for OBC is 03 years.
