Salary

• Technical Assistant: INR 20,000/- per month (plus Accommodation/HRA as per Institute Norm)
• Research Associate I: INR 58,000/- per month (plus Accommodation/HRA as per Institute Norm)

Eligibility

• Technical Assistant: BTech/BE degrees in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or MSc in Biotechnology, Botany or Chemistry or 03 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology (with 02 years of experience) or equivalent from recognized Institute/Universities with minimum 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks. Candidates with higher qualifications may also apply.
• Research Associate I: PhD degree or equivalent in Biotechnology/Biological Sciences from reputed Institutes/Universities. Candidates should have expertise in cell culture, image analysis, advanced molecular cell biology, and biochemical techniques. Preference will be given to candidates with research exposure to Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and Spectrophotometer handling, and basic modelling with at least one research paper in SCI journal.

Age Limit

• Technical Assistant: 50 years
• Research Associate I: 35 years (with 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and women candidates as on the last date of application)

Duration of Appointment
Purely temporary for a period of two years or end of the project, whichever is earlier, subject to performance evaluation every six months.
