Eligibility

• First Class Post Graduate Degree (in Applied Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Botany/ Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Zoology), including the integrated PG Degrees, with three years experience or PhD in above mentioned subject.
• Second Class Post Graduate Degree (in Applied Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Botany/ Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Zoology), including the integrated PG Degrees, with PhD in above mentioned subject and three years experience.

Desirable Qualifications

• Prior experience in the field of leishmania research/molecular biology work will be given priority.
• Candidate has to travel extensively (and may have to stay) to Kala-azar Medical Research Centre (field site) at Muzaffarpur District, Bihar as per requirement of project.

Age Limit
40 years (Age relaxation up to 5 years may be granted to deserving candidates having experience of working in Government Research Organization/projects).

Salary
Rs. 67,000/- + HRA, as admissible.
