Essential Qualification

• Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding or M.Sc. (Ag) in Genetics and Plant Breeding with 1st Division or overall grade point Average with 4/5 years of B.Sc. (Ag). The relevant degrees should be completed in ICAR accredited Universities/Colleges.

Desirable Qualification

• 03 years of experience as evidence from fellowship/Associate ship/Training/Other engagements.
• One Research Paper in Science Citation index (SCI)/NAAS rated (4.0) journal.

Age Limit

• Not exceeding 40 years (For Men)
• Not exceeding 45 years (For Women)

Salary

• Rs.67,000/- per month + HRA (For Ph.D Holders)
• Rs.61,000/- per month + HRA (For Masters Degree Holders)
• HRA will be given as per existing State Government rates applicable.

Duration

• 11 months from the date of joining/filling of regular post, whichever is earlier.

Naturae of Duties

• Responsible for conducting research experiments of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Seed production and Front-line demonstrations.
