Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree/ Ph.D in Genetics & Plant Breeding
• Or Master’s degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree having 1st division or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 3 years of respective teaching/research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/Other engagements, Published one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal.
• Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
• All the relevant degrees should be completed if any in ICAR accredited Universities/Colleges.

Job Description

• Cotton: To conduct cotton field experiments, handling of BG II segregating populations, knowledge on molecular works, collection of the samples for ELISA, running of ELISA and PCRs for DNA finger printing, recording the data at lab & Field and analysis of the data using different software.
• Pulses: Execution of Technical support for implementing the technical programme, breeder seed production of MULLaRP Scheme

Age Limit

• Not exceeding 40 years for men & 45 years for women.
• Age relaxation as per Government norms for SC/ST candidates.

Salary

• Rs.61,000/- + HRA per month (for M.Sc.(Ag.))
• Rs.67,000/- + HRA per month (for Ph.D.)
• The HRA will be given as per the existing state Govt. Rates applicable in various places/locations.
