Eligibility

• For project at Bhimtal: Master’s degree in Fisheries Science with specialization in Aquatic animal Health Management/ Fish Pathology and Microbiology/ Aquaculture/ Fish Biotechnology/ any other fisheries science subjects OR Master’s degree in Life Sciences with two years research experience in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology.
• For project at Champawat: Postgraduate in Fisheries Science/ Life Science.

Requirements

• For project at Bhimtal (Desirable): Research experience in bacteriology, molecular biology and bioinformatics; Research publications in peer reviewed international journals in the area of fish health/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology.
• For project at Champawat (Preference/Desirable): Prior experience in RAS; M.F.Sc./M.Sc. in fisheries Science; CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR Net Qualified; Prior experience in water quality analysis, Fish and Plankton sampling, microbiology, and molecular work; Good knowledge of taxonomy and biology of fishes; Willingness to travel frequently in high altitude areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh and North East India; Excellent computer documentation and analytical skills.

Age Limit
Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules for SC/ST/OBC/Women/ Physically challenged candidates.
