Salary

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): ₹ 37,000 + HRA (for I and IInd year); ₹ 42,000 + HRA (for IIIrd year onwards)
• Young Professional-II (YP-II): ₹ 42,000 per month (consolidated)

Eligibility

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master degree in Vegetable Science/ Horticulture/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Biotechnology with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree with 3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13-07-2015, OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dt. 09-10-2015, and OMSR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30-01-2019.
• Young Professional-II (YP-II): Master’s degree in Vegetable Science/ Horticulture/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Biotechnology.

Age Limit

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on date of interview (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & Women, and three years for OBC).
• Young Professional-II (YP-II): Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years, with relaxation as per rules.
