Project Details
DBT funded project (P-07/1348) entitled “Study of the Complex Genetic System for Developing a Package of R/S Genes to Breed for Spot Blotch Resistance in Bread Wheat”. Positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Duration
Initially for 1 year. Extension will be provided based on performance in the first year. Project duration is up to December 2028.

Eligibility

• Essential qualification: A Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Botany/Plant Biotechnology/ or a related discipline from a reputed University/Institution.
• Desirable qualification: Proven track record of molecular biology, biotechnology techniques or genomic pipelines, supported by relevant research publications in SCI-indexed journals.

Age Limit
40 years as on date of interview (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female as per GOI rules).
