Eligibility

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biological Sciences / related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Healthcare startup environment.
• Demonstrated experience in startup project development, technology translation and commercialization.
• Demonstrated scientific research experience with peer-reviewed publications.

Requirements

• Experience in fundraising / raising external funding of approximately ₹1 crore or more for a startup/project (highly desirable).
• Postdoctoral research experience (added advantage).
• Candidates with 5 or more research publications and demonstrated scientific productivity (preferred).
• Cumulative journal impact factor of approximately 5 or above (advantage).
• Strong understanding of Life Sciences / Biotechnology R&D.
• Startup and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Project planning and execution.
• Fundraising and investor communication.
• Scientific writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to bridge scientific research, product development and business/commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate R&D and innovation projects in the life-science/healthcare domain.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with scientific, technical, regulatory, clinical and business teams.
• Support technology development and translation of scientific research into commercially viable products.
• Assist in preparation of investor presentations, funding proposals, grant applications and project reports.
• Coordinate fundraising and investor-related activities.
• Manage communication with incubators, funding agencies, academic institutions and industry partners.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Prepare technical reports, scientific documentation and presentations.
• Support intellectual property, publication, regulatory and commercialization activities where required.
