Plant Engineering and Stress Adaptomics (PESA) Lab, Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi – 221005.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have JRF, NET or GATE qualification.
• M.Sc. degree in Botany / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Environmental Science / Plant Science / Life Science / Biosciences with at least 55% or equivalent marks.

Requirements

• Desirable Skills: Prior experience in molecular biology, plant tissue culture, plant transformation, bioinformatics or related laboratory techniques.

Age Limit
As per the DBT guidelines.

Job Role

• Assist in experimental design, routine laboratory work, molecular biology experiments, plant transformation, data analysis, and maintenance of laboratory records.

Project Duration
Two (02) years. The appointment is purely temporary and on a contract basis. The initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended up to the duration of the project, subject to satisfactory performance.
