Responsibilities
- Supervision of courses and interns
- Participation in the supervision of theses
- Conducting and supporting scientific research and collaborating on research projects
- Providing services for research
- Preparation of scientific publications
- Writing a dissertation
- Delivering presentations, e.g. at international conferences
- Involvement in procurement processes related to regular and special allocations
- Administrative tasks in the area of library and literature procurement
Admission Requirements
Completed Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
Desired Qualification
- Good knowledge of protein biochemistry and enzymology, enzyme kinetics, and enzymatic reaction engineering
- Good knowledge of bioprocess engineering (where relevant to the institute’s practical teaching activities)
- Knowledge of analytical techniques, particularly HPLC
- Strong interest in both fundamental and applied research
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,865.40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
