Salary

• Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year
• Rs. 42,000/- + HRA per month for 3rd year

Eligibility

• M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ Bio-nanotechnology with minimum 60% marks and with NET

Requirements

• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Molecular Biology techniques, genomics and metabolomics.

Age Limit

• 35 years for men
• 40 years for women

Initially upto 31.03.27, extendable upto the duration of project

How to Apply

• The complete application form in the prescribed format should reach the office of the Principal Investigator (Dr. Kumaraswamy R.V., Assistant Professor (ABT), Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, College of Biotechnology, CCS HAU, Hisar, Haryana) by 25/09/2026 at 4:30 PM.
• The application should be neatly typed on separate white paper following the prescribed format.
• Attach attested copies of mark sheets and certificates in support of qualifications, age, and research experience.
• The interview will be held on 29/09/2026 at 10:00 AM in the office of Director of Research, CCSHAU, Hisar.
• No separate interview letters will be issued and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Original certificates along with one set of self-attested copies must be brought at the time of interview.

Terms and Conditions

• The appointment will be up to the end of the project or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
• In case the work and conduct are not found satisfactory, services can be terminated at any time after giving an opportunity to be heard.
• The services may also be terminated at any time without assigning any reason in case of non-release of funds by the funding agency.
• The candidate will be entitled to TA/DA as per ANRF rules.
• On expiry of the project, the candidate will be relieved, and the University/Department will not be responsible for his/her adjustment elsewhere.
• The candidate will not be a regular employee and will not be entitled to CPF/GPF or any other benefits admissible to regular employees.
• A medical fitness certificate from the CMO of CCS HAU will be required at the time of joining.
• The candidate must report for duty within 10 days from the date of issue of the appointment order, failing which the appointment will be treated as withdrawn.
• The candidate will have to execute an agreement on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 15/- before joining.
• Emoluments will be subject to revision if allowed by the funding agency.
