Eligibility

- Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Life Science / Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institute.
- Post 02: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Life Science / Biology from a recognized University/Institution.
- Desirable Qualification: Master’s Degree in Entomology, Biotechnology, or equivalent discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Post 03: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology)/B.Sc. (Microbiology)/B.Sc. (Life Sciences) OR Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Plant Pathology, Biochemistry, Agricultural Sciences, or any.
- Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. (Plant Pathology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry). Experience in handling fungal pathogens, especially Aspergillus spp. Practical knowledge/ experience (1-2 years) of microbiological and molecular biology techniques such as fungal culturing, DNA/RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, PCR, qRT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, and spectrophotometric analysis. Experience in mycotoxin research, particularly aflatoxin detection using ELISA, HPLC, LC-MS/MS, or related analytical techniques.
- Post 04: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: Undergraduate degree in Science / Life Sciences, preferably in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or an equivalent discipline in the science stream.
- Post 05: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: B.Sc. / B.Tech. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline, preferably with Hands-on experience in gene cloning, recombinant protein expression, molecular biology, proteomics, sample preparation, and data analysis.
- Post 06: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Dairy Science, Biotechnology, Zoology, or relevant subjects.
- Desirable Qualification: Master’s Degree and working experience in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) in livestock species, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Proteomics, or Bioinformatics, or related areas.
- Post 07: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Bioinformatics / Computational Biology / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning / Biotechnology / Biostatistics / Statistics or equivalent discipline from a recognized university/institution, with demonstrated proficiency in programming and data analysis.
- Desirable Qualification: Computational Biology / Computer Science / Data Science / AI and ML / Biostatistics / Statistics with demonstrated proficiency in programming and data analysis.
- Post 08: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification: M.Tech. in the relevant discipline or B.Tech. with a minimum of two years of experience in IoT, embedded systems, sensor interfacing, electronics hardware development, automation, precision agriculture, or related areas.
- Post 09: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Veterinary Science, or any other relevant biological science discipline from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Virology, Veterinary Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or allied disciplines.
- Post 10: Young Professional-I (YP-I) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: Graduate in Agricultural Sciences (B.Sc. Agriculture).
- Desirable Qualification: Post-graduate in Agricultural Sciences with specialisation in Agronomy / Soil Science.
- Post 11: Young Professional II (YP-II) (1 Post)
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Genetics / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Biotechnology / Life Sciences.
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of bioinformatics, Experience in handling field experiments.
Requirements
- The positions are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis.
- The post is coterminous with the project and will be offered initially for one year or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
- Initial engagement of YP will be for one year, which may be extended up to a maximum of 03 years subject to performance and requirement of services in the project/Institute.
- Candidates must bring their complete bio-data, duly self-attested certificates and mark sheets (from Class 10th onwards), thesis/publications, training/experience certificates, and no objection certificate from their current employer during the interview.
- Candidates whose near / distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/ICAR-IIAB, Ranchi, have to furnish a declaration (Annexure II). Candidates having no near/ distant relative(s) working at ICAR/ ICAR-IIAB, Ranchi will also furnish a declaration (Annexure II) on the date of interview.
- No TA/DA/remuneration will be paid for attending the Interview or joining if selected.
- Income tax or any other tax is to be deducted as per the rule.
- Attendance and working hours/days will be as per the ICAR rules.
Age Limit
- 21 to 45 years as per ICAR rules.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD is applicable as per Govt. of India / ICAR Rules.
