Your Responsibilities
- Research in the field of plant molecular biology and genetics with focus on molecular control of auxin activity in plant development
- Collaboraton in ongoing reserach projects (Prof. Werner); where applicable, independent publication activity on auxin in plant development
- Conducting of courses and examinations, including those in the area of plant molecular biology
- Supervision of students and project-related theses
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks
Your Profile
- Completed PhD in the area of molecular biology
- Sound knowledge of the molecular and genetic mechanisms of hormone signaling, root development, and biomolecular condensates in plants
- Practical knowledge of advanced molecular biological and biochemical methods, including genome editing, RNA sequencing, confocal microscopy, and protein interactions assays
- High potential for scientific excellence (demonstrated by relevant publication activity in international peer-reviewed journals, and successful acquisition of third-party funded projects
- or scholarships).
- Very good proficiency in English
- Communication, organizational and teamwork skills
- Self-initiative and creativity

We offer an annual gross salary of € 70,200.20 for a fulltime position.
