Eligibility

• An M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum cumulative score of 65% (or an equivalent CGPA/CGPI) in the qualifying degree.
• Candidates with PhD degree from a recognized institution also may apply.

Requirements

• Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in an academic or research setting.
• Must have cleared a national-level eligibility test such as GATE, NET, or an equivalent examination.
• Must have published at least one research article in an UGC approved/SCI/Scopus journal.

Desirable Skills

• Relevant experience in antimicrobial resistance, phage therapy, NGS, whole genome sequencing, Sanger sequencing, metagenomics, sequencing data analysis, sample collection and culturing resistant pathogens. (Candidates should apply only if they have relevant experience in these areas).

Salary

• Consolidated pay of ₹42,000 only.
• Tenure: Initially for one year, and extended for the next two years based on performance.

Age Limit
Maximum of 32 years as of the application deadline (age relaxation applicable as per institutional/government norms).
