Team Assistant (m/f/d)
A part-time position (half the regular working hours , 20 hours/week) is available on a permanent contract . Remuneration will be based on pay grade 6 TV-L, subject to meeting the personal and collective bargaining requirements.
The chair is part of the rapidly growing research focus area of Environmental Health Sciences (EHS). It deals with the research, detection, and prevention of health risks related to the environment and nutrition. A strong focus is on understanding how sustainable, healthy diets and their bioactive components can be effectively used to promote healthy aging and counteract the health impacts of climate change on humans. Here, we collaborate nationally and internationally with various disciplines and, as part of a multidisciplinary team of experts at the University of Augsburg, provide additional, new impetus to student teaching within the broader context of “humans, climate, and the environment.”
Your responsibilities include:
- Organization and coordination of central processes in the secretariat of the chair
- Ensuring a reliable organizational presence of the secretariat in the morning as a central point of contact for the team, students and external partners.
- Organizational support for the chair’s biobank and clinical studies, in particular with regard to scheduling, participant reception and sample logistics.
- Administration of personnel matters and the financial organization of the chair
- Organization and administrative support of lectures, business trips and scientific conferences
- Active participation in the further development of efficient organizational processes in the daily work of the chair.
Your profile:
We are looking for someone who enjoys taking on responsibility and will support our growing team as a reliable organizational constant. You should bring the following qualifications:
- Completed vocational training in the commercial sector, as a medical assistant (MFA) or a comparable qualification
- Proficient use of MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and an interest in learning new programs, ideally with an affinity for AI.
- Professional and friendly demeanor, service orientation, discretion, and loyalty.
- A structured and reliable work ethic, as well as enjoyment in helping to shape stable processes in the daily work of the chair.
- Enjoyment of a working style with reliable presence in daily chair activities as well as routine and frequently used digital coordination with the international team.
- Very good to good English skills
The required qualifications must already be demonstrated in the application documents by means of relevant certificates.
