Project Title
“The Role of Host-Derived Extra chromosomal Circular DNA in Shaping Begomovirus Genome Complexity and Diversity” (Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded project)

Duration
Three Years (purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus basis with the project or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier)

Salary

• Rs. 37000 + HRA (as applicable) for 1st and 2nd year
• Rs. 42000 + HRA (as applicable) for 3rd year

Eligibility

• Post Graduate degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Plant Pathology/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Microbiology/ Life science discipline
• NET or GATE or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Department and their agencies and Institution such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, MoE, NISER etc. as per guidelines

Requirements

• Working experience in plant virology and transcriptomic data analysis is preferred (Desirable Qualification)

Age Limit

• Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women
• Age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PH candidates as per DST/ ANRF and GoI norms
