Eligibility

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture recognised by Kerala Agricultural University.
• Master’s Degree in Agronomy recognised by Kerala Agricultural University with a minimum of 55% marks, without any grace mark, in the traditional system or its equivalent grade point system. A relaxation of 5% to marks shall be allowed for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently Abled categories upon production of sufficient documents in proof of the claim.
• Candidate must have passed ‘NET’ examination in the relevant subject conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR/AICTE or equivalent test approved by UGC.

Requirements

• Desirable: Knowledge in Malayalam language to read and write.
• Desirable: Ph.D in the relevant subject recognised by Kerala Agricultural University.
• The appointment will be purely provisional for a period of one year or till the appointment of regular hands whichever is earlier.
• Selected candidates will have to execute a bond in the prescribed format on stamp paper worth Rs. 200/- while joining duty.
• Selected candidates will discharge all such duties that are attached to the post as per KAU Act/Statutes/Rules & Regulations and that may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Head of the station.

Age Limit
Shall not be over 40 years of age as on 01/01/2026. The age limit is relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC and differently abled categories as prescribed in the KS&SSR 1958 as amended from time to time.

• No hard copies or additional documents need to be sent at the time of application.
• Shortlisted candidates after initial screening will be permitted to appear for an interview. No separate call letter will be sent.
• The interview is scheduled for 03/07/2026 at 9.00 am at Cashew Research Station, Madakkathara (located in Thrissur District near POWERGRID, Madakkathara, one kilometre from Mannuthy Centre).
• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
• Candidates must present a duly filled application in Annexure I format along with original and self-attested copies of the following documents at the time of interview:
• Photo ID proof of the candidate
• Certificates to prove date of birth
• 10th/SSLC certificate and mark list
• Higher Secondary certificate and mark list
• Degree certificate and mark list
• Post Graduate Degree certificate and mark list

• Proof for popular and Scientific publications, other trainings & certifications in the field, if any
