Project Title: Targeting Chemoresistant lung cancer by Slit2- mimicking peptides Sponsor: Indian Council of medical Research-ICMR Consolidated Compensation: Rs.80400 (Upto) Essential Qualifications/Experiance: 1. First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three Years Experience or PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Genetic Engineering. 2. Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with PhD and three Years Experience, 3. For Engineering / IT / CS – First Class Graduate degree of Four Years with three years’ Experience Desirable Qualifications/Experiance: Cadidate with cancer research background will be preferred. Experience with mice handling, NGS data analysis, patient-derived organoids Age Limit: 40 Tenure (in months): 6 |
Project Info: Analysis of molecular mechanisms of chemoresistance in cancer Job Info: The candidate will be responsible for conducting wet lab experiments, such as develop genetically engineered and drug-resistant cell lines, establish patient-derived xenograft tumor models in mice, modern molecular biology experiments. The candidate will be responsible for performing and analysing high-dimension data analysis, including spectral flow cytometry, RNA sequencing. The candidate will also write manuscripts, progress reports, and conference abstracts. The candidate will also be responsible for training the students. |
