The following position is to be filled as soon as possible at the Witzenhausen location within the Department of Ecological Agricultural Sciences, specializing in Ecological Food Quality (Prof. Dr. Fabian Weber):

Research Associate (m/f/d), pay grade EG 13 TV-H , fixed-term , part-time (currently 26 hours per week)

Part-time position with 65% of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until May 31, 2029, within the framework of the “GRUENKOHL” project, in accordance with Section 2 of the Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act (WissZeitVG). The opportunity to pursue a doctorate is available.

Tasks:

  • Scientific collaboration in the above project
  • Planning and execution of sensory and chemical-analytical investigations
  • Writing interim and final reports in German

Requirements:

  • A completed university degree in agricultural sciences, food sciences, or a related field. The required degree must be obtained no later than the start date of employment.
  • Experience in the field of food analysis and sensory evaluation.

The following are advantageous:

  • Prior knowledge of the methods: HPLC and photometry
  • Thorough and independent work methods
  • A high level of organizational skills
  • English language skills
  • Very good German skills
