These are your tasks:
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research aimed at understanding regulatory pathways involved in parasite motility
- Perform molecular cloning, genetic manipulation, and cell-based assays in Apicomplexan model systems
- Use microscopy and imaging tools to study parasite structure and dynamics
- Analyze protein interactions, localization, and potential post-translational modifications
- Present research at group meetings, conferences, and in peer reviewed journals
- Contribute to a collaborative and collegial laboratory environment
This is you:
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Parasitology, or a related field
- Strong interest in parasite biology and/or post-translational modifications
- Hands on experience in molecular biology techniques (eg, PCR, cloning, cell culture)
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired (but Not Required) Skills
- Experience working with Toxoplasma gondii Plasmodiu , or other eukaryotic cells
- Familiarity with fluorescence microscopy or live cell imaging
- Knowledge of protein biochemistry or enzyme function
- Interest in post translational modifications (eg, methylation)
- Basic data analysis or computational skills
